First Post on Brand New Blog-Rachel Holbert-Jones Page, Sunset SC #ravenblackheartllc

Hello and welcome to my new blog. Starting a new site wasn't my first thought but due to some issues with my other blog(it was hacked and information was changed) I ended up creating a brand new one. I can still access everything that was published and almost all of my posts were. Some of my other sites were hacked into as well, including two of my advertisers. At first, I was going to go to wordpress but I don't like their image uploader that much so here I am(I already have a couple there. This site is probably a better reflection of my blog. I have many posts to move from my old blog(s). Actually, I have more than that because I have another blog too plus a business blog that I just started but I've decided to combine the business and the haunted, abandoned houses into one. They cross over because many of the houses we purchase are abandoned, rundown, empty, in urban decay, etc. I work with my uncle and his business partners buying mostly investment homes. From time to time we buy vacant land and commercial properties. My job as a consultant is meeting with potential sellers, sizing up the property, inspecting it, drawing up a repair estimate, taking pictures, videos and going from there. We specialize in allegedly haunted properties and have received many calls over the years and have purchased many of these properties. Most of the houses are not haunted just old, creeky and have gotten a reputation from local gossips that it's a place filled ghosts, etc. Very few homes actually are but on occasion we've employed the services of paranormal groups. In the past couple of years we have taken a bigger interest in tiny homes, green living, eco friendliness and being more sustainable and off grid. This has lead our business to doing van/RV modifications as well. This is more of a hobby. I haven't had the opportunity to do much of this yet but I want to. I've looked at skoolies, class b's and old school custom vans. Because my job keeps me and the others that work for Rizzo REI Partners on the road for sometimes weeks at a time traveling many miles from home, having a van or RV is almost a must. Most us agree this is a more comfortable situation than going to a motel every night plus it's cheaper. Due to my job flexibility I get to takea lot of personal pictures and video as well. I can say this is a very relaxing job. I will talk more about the business in another post and will probably do a page on it as well. Below is information about me. I recently did an update to my profile on someof my social media sites and decided to include a much bigger biography of me here. If anyone is interested that is. I do like to keep my writings even if they aren't that good. Here it is: It is time for an update: It has been awhile since I posted anything about me. I'm an amateur photographer. I like to photograph old, abandoned houses, allegedly haunted places, nature, animals & anything else I find interesting. I like reading, movies(horror movies in particular), music, scary story podcasts, art, history, photography, museums, travel, hiking, walking, cycling, weightlifting, shopping, health foods, writing, dancing, classic cars, boats, motorcycles, American made automobiles, car lots, picnicking, golf, football(Detroit Lions is my favorite team), online brain games, plants, flowers, animals, pottery, landscaping, interior design & decorating, sustainable living, eco friendly homes, tiny homes, earthdomes, off grid living, RVing, van life, natural building, green cleaning, jewelry, fashion, beauty, YouTube, computers, the internet, blogging, word games, research, quote collecting, gratitude lists, recipes, books, freedom, pizza, ice cream, life, business opportunities, religion, travel guides, sea shells, coffee, head wraps, vodka, coconut rum, vintage bottles, figurines, birds, bison, depression glass, asian vases, collectibles, painted rocks, fruit themed decor, stuffed animals, ceramics, vegetarian cooking, grilling, wine tasting, snacks, sightseeing, boating, road tripping, boondocking, car camping & I'm always looking to learn new things & visit new places. When I was a child I liked to draw, paint, sketch, doodle & color. I preferred water colors. I like to visit historical places, nature preserves, drive scenic byways, wildlife refuge, lakes, rivers, mountains, the ocean, birding trails, antique stores, outlet malls, marinas, state & national parks, RV parks, rest areas, truck stops, tourist attractions, farmer's markets, car shows, area gardens, galleries, cemeteries, graveyards & old churches. Some of my favorite places are South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia & my absolute favorite place is Michigan. I love the Great Lakes, driving US Hwy 2 West through the Upper Peninsula all the way to Minnesota, Mackinaw City, Escanaba & a bear ranch in the UP, the pacific coast highway & Death Valley National Park in California. Not long ago, I drove all of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountains National Park & Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. I visited Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Badlands, Full Throttle Saloon, Sturgis in South Dakota, Beartooth Highway in Montana, the Medicine Wheel, Devil's Monument in Wyoming, the Gold Rush Highway in Nebraska, I wanted to drive the Outlaw Trail but didn't get to. I went to Hot Springs, South Dakota & saw the jail where Calamity Jane was jailed for borrowing someone's horse, the saloon where she drank, went to Deadwood which is a tourist trap & visited Wild Bill Hickock's grave. My job is in real estate, working for a group of investors(one of which is my uncle) as a consultant & buyer. I'm on the road a lot meeting with potential sellers & looking at property. I also sell on ebay, amazon, poshmark, ruby lane, chairish, vinted, facebook marketplace & etsy. I have a shopping website with affiliate programs which I've been doing for years, several blogs, a YouTube channel & several side hustles: doordash, shipt, mystery shopping, social media & search engine evaluator, content researcher, proofreading, freelancing, digital marketing & virtual assistant. I also have a few simple side gigs like taking surveys, inboxdollars, swagbucks that earn latte money each month & are fun. My referral link for swagbucks is https://www.swagbucks.com/p/register?rb=36506991, inboxdollars is https://www.inboxdollars.com?rb=80471672&ref_src=link. I've lived in a few different areas such as Michigan, South Carolina, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, West Virginia, North Carolina & now Memphis, Tennessee taking care of my aunt. I was born & raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. My Mom & Dad moved there in 1960 when Dad got a job at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft & stayed there until his retirement in 1989. I started blogging in 2005 then in 2009 I started my haunted blog as a hobby to post the pictures I took of haunted and/or abandoned places. I was using a Fuji camera & upgraded a few times until I preferred to use my phone. I've deleted many blogs over the years I couldn't keep up with. In 2021 I started a YouTube channel in Georgia & have been vlogging ever since. For the future, one place I want to visit is Crested Butte, Colorado, revisit Utah, Arkansas, Arizona, Nevada & make it to Sitting Bull's gravesite in North Dakota. I have a boat docked at an RV park/marina in Clifton, Tennessee & plan to explore lakes I haven't yet gotten to.

By Rachel Xie Qi Holbert-Jones Page, living in Iva SC & Hartwell, Georgia & Michigan part time aka Sassygrrl32 (formerly) in Memphis Tennessee & Clifton RV Park & Marina TN

UPDATE:

Until next time……..My story………………I’m Rachel Xie Qi Holbert-Jones Page and this is my story: living part time in Iva, South Carolina (Anderson County SC) and part time in Hartwell, Georgia on my boyfriend Malachi’s boat, a 1986 Chris-Craft Catalina 381, at the Hartwell Marina which technically doesn’t allow liveaboards so I can only stay there sometimes. He purchased a 1996 Holiday Mansion 39 Barracuda, a 1977 CHB Trawler 34 (I’m remodeling), a 1986 Marine Trader 54 Sunliner that I’m updating. Malachi and his brother purchased a 2018 Sunseeker Manhattan 52 and a 2001 Nordic Tug 37. I still have the 2001 Adventure-Craft 2800 in the Outer Banks that I’m currently not renting (but call home) because I’m behind on rent payments but I have the ability to go back to once I catch up (The landlord is a friend). *********************************************************************** I’m still taking care of my aunt in West Virginia but not as much anymore and hoping not to have to return to Memphis, Tennessee. We are scheduled to get my aunt moved to Dead Women Crossing, Oklahoma but it keeps getting moved farther out. I’m still traveling and road tripping for work and have been to my Uncle’s ranch in Alpine, Texas to oversee it and the cattle he titled in my name, Texas Longhorns, Scottish Highlands, Brangus and show horses. He’s also added some Bison and Beefalo to his ranch in addition to his other livestock. I still have a lot of familiarizing to do and I’m very happy to learn about the cattle, horses and the ranch. ************************************************************************* For my work travels my uncle purchased a beautiful blue 1995 Ford E-150 Econoline GT Starquest Campervan. I wasn’t sure at first about him purchasing an older van like this but the man that owned it previously had completely converted it with solar power and electrical and while it was priced higher than he wanted it was a great deal for all of the work the owner had done. It only has 112k miles and since I haven’t driven it much and it was purchased it in January 2024, it still has the same mileage. It only has a sealed portable toilet but that is okay because I prefer a public toilet and only use a camper toilet if I’m dispersed camping or at a Walmart and have no choice. I prefer rest areas and truck stops and only stay at a Walmart or Cracker Barrel if I must. For short trips, I drive a car or SUV my Uncle gives me. ************************************************************************* I have an avid love for photography and capturing the essence of old, abandoned properties, allegedly haunted places, classic, antique vehicles, lakes, rivers, nature and historical places. I’m not a ghosthunter or paranormal investigator although I’ve had people request me to lead their groups, I’m a legend Hunter which means I love to chase the legends. I love scary podcasts and spend more time on YouTube or Audible than Peacock or Tubi. I used to watch TV or movies when I stopped for the night but now I usually go right to sleep when I stop and prefer the podcasts of Darkness Prevails, What Lurks Beneath or Swamp Dweller. I like to listen to scary trucker stories too, occasionally Carmen Carrion or grizzly/polar bear attacks. On Audible I like books but have only finished one or two so it doesn’t really pay for itself. I do like the Dateline Podcasts. I’ve recently developed an interest in the law and like google scholar and casetext for research, medium, wordpress and blogger for writing, YouTube, listening to van lifers and people living in their cars, SUV’s and RV’s. I like Facebook groups geared toward van life, camping and road tripping, unsplash, pexels and pixabay for public domain photos, pinterest, instagram, reading, greek mythology, the metaphysical, ebay, shadowlands (for places that are supposedly haunted) and the internet. ***********************I like creating videos, photography, blogging and going to car shows when I’m not working which consists of scouting for investment properties and rehabbing/remodeling those properties after my Uncle and his business partners purchase the houses. We also remodel old boats and restore classic cars. When not working, I like camping, photography, museums, historical places, art galleries, antique shops, anything old and driving deserted back roads. I’m also into fitness, weightlifting (although I haven’t been doing much of it this winter because it’s cold and I like to exercise outside), nutrition, healthy eating, gua sha, face rollers, beauty, fashion and recently tai chi and yoga. ***************************************Visit my blogs at https://rachelholbertjonespage.comhttps://sassygrrl32x.blogspot.com and https://youtube.com/sassygrrl32 *****************************************By Rachel Xie Qi Holbert-Jones Page AKA sassygrrl32 & Haunted Legendhunter & Bourbon Street Blogger *******************************************For my name change: First, it is part of my rebranding and second I wanted to take my great-grandmother’s maiden name and incorporate it into my name for heritage sake. Xie means “thank” in mandarin, it dates to the Nanyang in the Henan province, annexed around the Western Zhou dynasty (1076-771 BC). In ancient chinese it meant “acrobat skills” and “flying upward” as in a bird. The Xie family name was found in the USA in 1920 in Wisconsin. Da Xie means to “express one’s thanks” and Xie Mei is “harmonious and graceful.” ************************************************************************ Qi (Che, Chi, pronounced chee) means “the circulating life force whose existence and properties are the basis of much chinese philosophy and medicine”; “the energy in everything”; “vital life force.”; “flowing vital energy.” **************************************************************** In traditional chinese philosophy and medicine, qi is an unseen energy that flows through everything, binding all things together within the micro and macro elements of the universe. And one more interesting tidbit: Low Bow (bowing as low as you can) is reserved for people of much higher stature than yourself and indicates deep respect. ***********************************************#rachelholbertjones #rachelxieqiholbertjones #sassygrrl32 #sassygrrl32x #Iva #SouthCarolina #Hartwell #Georgia #andersoncounty #livinginacar #vanlife #nomadlifestyle #carcamping #roadtripping #boondocking #carlife #livingoffgrid #vandwelling #vanliving #personalblogpage #legendhunter #haunted #abandoned #rhjonespage #rxqhjp #rxqhjonespage #rxqhjpage rxieqiholbertjones #rachelxieqi #rachelxieqiholbertjonespage #xieqiholbertjones #xieqiholbert #xieqi #sassyaftersixty #deadwomencrossing #oklahoma #westvirginia #memphis #tennessee #sassyaftersixty #bourbonstreetblogger #bepositive #prayer #GodBless #vitallifeforce #flowingvitalenergy #unseenenergy #taichi *****************************************As a side note: To explain my homeless/houseless situation, my ex boyfriend sold my house without my permission by signing the purchase agreement online and not talking to the buyer. The buyer was a wholesale agent in Florida, the house is in North Carolina, so there was never any meetings. The wholesaler sold the contract (reassignment) to someone else. My ex BF took the money. Unfortunately, we had joint accounts. We are now in litigation (with the buyer) and are currently in an appeal and I have several motions set for a few months from now. There were a lot of discrepancies in the contracts as well as a number of errors the trial court made. In one contract I was listed as my father’s wife, my address was wrong, there were many mistakes. The whole thing (closing) took place out of state. I’m looking for my ex BF so I can take a lawsuit on him but he lives full time in his RV so I have no idea where he is currently. He has a post office box and several certified letters have been sent but went undelivered and I’ve certainly not told him I’m trying to serve him with a lawsuit. The last known address I have for him is in Arkansas and he uses his brother’s address in Tennessee (summons has been sent there too and went unserved by the sheriff). ****************************************************I just wanted to share, a lot of people on my YouTube channel wanted to know the story and many don’t understand how someone else can sell your property out from under you but it happens. It happened to me. It was inherited property and many of my friends believe I was targeted. This isn’t something I can really talk about in my videos. I have a little but I have to be very discerning on what I say and technically I’m probably not supposed to be talking about considering I’m seeking to sue my ex boyfriend for his part. I’ve tried going to the police but they couldn’t help me. They said it was civil matter. So there you have it.
